WorkingRite is a charity tackling youth unemployment through a unique work-based learning and mentoring programme. We personally match young people aged 16-18 to local small to medium enterprises for work placements lasting up to six months. We currently operate two projects in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Highland and Moray. We operate the Employability Fund for level 3 and 4 where our trainees are paid a weekly allowance, are supported through the Certificate of Work Readiness, and gain invaluable experience in the adult world of work. We also run a People and Communities Fund in partnership with Langstane Housing Association and the Scottish Government where our trainees are paid a weekly allowance, are supported through the GOALS motivational training, and gain invaluable experience in the adult world of work.
