Felix Road Adventure Playground has a charity status and is run in partnership with bristol City Counci. The playground and indoor facilities areas are all free. Times shown are for the Under 5yrs areas. We are also open from 3.30pm-7.30pm for ages 5-16yrs. During the Summer holidays we are open 10.30-12.50 and 14.00-17.30.

Our extra-curricular activities build confidence and character in an environment where students are supported and nurtured.

Team sports: Partnership with England Rugby, Bristol Rovers FC and Bristol Storm. All-weather football pitches for football, Hockey, Rounders, Cricket and Athletics to be played on. For Netball and Basketball we have full size Sports hall.

Healthy living: Swimming and other individual sports encouraged. Nature club in on-site garden

Music and drama: Creativity high on agenda. Productions of Richard III at Shakespeare Festival and We Will Rock You massive successes, providing opportunities on and off stage

Dance: Rise dance troupe in demand. A regular at St Paul’s Carnival. Students also performed at Memorial Stadium and Millennium Stadium

Trips: Annual Exmouth Camp popular. Various visits abroad to suit historians, linguists, sports enthusiasts, artists

Clubs: Debating, ICT, cookery, games – to name just a few

Enterprise: Amaliso team won four regional Young Enterprise titles

Community: Frequent charity collections supported enthusiastically

Adventure: Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme offers expedition experience

Leadership: House system enables all to compete. Prefects, House Captains and Sports Captains selected by application and interviews to lead community and mentor others

After School Club School finish – 5.45 pm

After school club is open every weekday during term time. Children are collected from their classroom at the end of the school day by the afterschool club staff. The club runs until 5.45pm. Reception and Years 1 & 2 are in the lower school hall and the activities room. Years 3,4,5 & 6 takes place in the top school hall

The children are given a healthy snack and can take part in a variety of activities including; art, gardening, games and sports.

The current cost is £8.00 per session.
