Suffolk Agency registered childminder.

With nearly 17 years of hands-on experience in early years education, I am a fully qualified and insured Childcare Provider, holding a BSc (Hons), Level 3 Childcare Home Practitioner qualification, CYPOP5, Advanced Safeguarding Level 3, Paediatric First Aid, and more. As a proud member of PACEY, I run Little Steps Childcare and Education, a warm, home-based nursery designed to feel like a “home away from home.”

Our setting features three spacious, fully equipped learning rooms and a secure garden to inspire creativity, curiosity, and independent exploration. We follow a child-led curriculum rooted in EYFS, Birth to 5 Matters, and Reggio Emilia principles. Weekly themes, sensory play, tuff trays, and open-ended resources create engaging, real-world learning experiences that foster holistic development.
We use the EY Log app to keep parents connected with real-time updates and photos. Termly progress meetings ensure collaborative partnerships with families, supporting each child’s unique learning journey.

In addition to full-day care, we offer a popular after-school club with structured play, social opportunities, and tailored tutoring in phonics, reading, writing, and maths for children from Reception to Year 3.

Our parents consistently rate us 5 stars, praising our nurturing environment, strong communication, and the personal care we provide. As a mother of a high-achieving son, I deeply value balanced development and understand the importance of supporting children to reach their full potential.
At Little Steps, your child will be cherished, supported, and empowered to grow with confidence, joy, and curiosity.
