| Provider Additional Information: | I have 5 years work experience from an extended childminding setting in the UK by working alongside a childminder.
I also have 2 years experience as a nursery school teacher from East Africa.
I am a member of the National Child Minding Association with whom I have public liability insurance. My setting has a separate playroom with a rear garden and patio, which are fully resourced with various play and learning activities.
In my setting, I have all age appropriate learning toys, dressing up clothes, books, dolls, puzzles, train sets, wooden bricks, Lego sets, various multi cultural toys, cars and a garage. I enjoy working with children by making learning fun and doing various activities.
My routine consists of going to the local Children’s centre, shops, park and library. Occasionally I take the children on a bus and tube ride to the shopping centre in Harrow. I hold a full clean driving license with my own car.
The EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) is followed at my setting by observing, assessing and planning the children’s daily activities and progress accordingly.
Ofsted has inspected my setting and have been awarded: Good.
My setting is a pet and smoke free, cosy, friendly and safe environment for all the children to be in, which provides fun with learning and development opportunities.
