Daljit’s Childminding Services is a 10min walk from Upney Station. 5min walk to Longbridge road and 5min walk to Upney lane
Schools I do pickups and drop offs at are: Manor Infants/Juniors (Sandringham site)
I have an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning & Development, and I have done Training in Makaton (Sign Language).
I regularly attend various training courses, such as; First Aid, Safeguarding, Early Years Foundation.
I do indoor and outdoor activities in my setting. The activities vary, depending on the Children’s choices that I have on the day. I encourage the children to choose their own activities to support their own individual learning and development.
I as a Childminder, work with other childcare professionals (schools) and Parents to provide a coordinated approach to supporting each individual child. Observing children's progress, working with parents to support their child's ongoing learning and development.
Children chose a variety of activities depending on their choices, needs, Seasons, Festivals & Celebrations.
All recourses I have indoors are rotated on weekly basis to give them a wider range of Choice.
Outdoor resources include, bikes depending on age of children, sand/water tray, balls, skipping ropes, chalk board.
I take the children to the local park which is a short walk from the setting, which has lots of facilities for the Children to take access.
I also take the children to local shops, such as, Bakery, Post Office for children to visit and experience real life role play.
