Jubilee Primary School Resource Base

Specialist Resource Base

Service overview

Service Description:
Jubilee Primary School has a resource provision for deaf pupils integrated within their mainstream school. It caters for pupils aged 3 to 11 years. Our pupils use written and spoken English, sign supported English and BSL in order to access the curriculum.

Our aim is for pupils to become proficient in their main mode of communication. This is supported by access to the wider range of communication strategies on offer.

Admission to the Resource Base will be according to the following objectives and admissions criteria: all pupils admitted to the Base will have an EHC plan with a primary need of severe to profound hearing loss.

Admission to the Base will be through the Lambeth SEND Team.
