Service Description:Y Active aims to offer children and young people living in inner London opportunities for informal education and encouragement to lead healthier and more active lives through providing fun, attractive activity-based programmes.
Within the Central YMCA Club itself, Y Active operates after-school sports courses, arts and drama courses; holiday play schemes; weekend activity programmes such as the Saturday Club and Sunday football; a crèche and activities for the under 5’s.
Y Active also operates within the community offering curriculum based physical education sessions within schools, a Breakfast and After School Club and special events such as sports days.
