| Service Description: | As a husband and wife team who are both individually qualified/Ofsted registered childminders, we can provide childcare for up to 6 children each day.
We live in Walthamstow E17 (Northeast London), with our son and our pet dog Milo, in a terraced house with a nice sized garden. We are walking distance of Lloyd Park, Kitchener Road Park with Brokkys Croft (a small play park as an extension to our garden) opposite our house and a short bus journey to Epping Forest.
We have created a home away from home (hyggelig) environment which provides a warm, nurturing, and safe environment with an active, creative, and fun atmosphere (a hyggelig environment is a Scandinavian way of life, socializing, cosy contentment and well-being, feeling sheltered and safe, soft lighting, soft pastel shades or strong muted colours). We encompass this with our choice of furniture, colours and toys in our home, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere.
We believe that outdoor play and outdoor education plays an important role to children’s development and helps them reach their full potential. Every young person should experience the world outdoors as an extension to their learning and as an essential part of their personal and social development.
Our aims are to encourage children to build their self-awareness, self-confidence, and social skills to develop and reach their milestones in a fun and creative way through arts and crafts and play. |
