After submitting your application, the result of your eligibility check will be displayed:
‘Found’ = you are eligible. You will receive an email / letter to confirm this; or‘Not Found’ = you are not eligible at the time of performing an eligibility check. You will receive an email / letter confirming this. You may still be entitled if you meet additional criteria outlined in the letter you will receive. Please follow the instructions in the letter if you meet the criteria.
As your circumstances change, so to might your eligibility from a) when you submit the application to b) when we process it. We will always use the latter as it will be the most up to date.
In some cases, your family may be eligible for a FF2 place, even though the initial government check comes back as 'Not Eligible'. This is because the initial check is based upon the carer's details and not the child's. In these circumstances, we may need further supporting information from you showing that your child meets the criteria listed on the Government's webpage (see link above). We will contact you asking you for this information after your application has been made.
Please make sure that the parent/carer who meets the eligibility criteria above, is the one who completes this application.
