Allocations from the first round of continuing interest have now been released. Please use the ‘View my allocation’ button below to access your child’s allocation summary. If your child has received a new school allocation during this round, it will be displayed in the summary.

If you have been allocated a new school through the first round of continuing interest:

Respond and Opt Out

You can use the online system to respond to your new school allocation offered during the first round of continuing interest and opt out of any unmet higher preferences.

First Page: Accept or reject the allocation made during the first round of continuing interest.

Second Page: If you reject the offer, you can provide a reason and also opt out of any unmet higher preferences for the second round of continuing interest.

Important: Ensure you click 'Submit Offer Response' to process your response.

If you have not been allocated a new school through the first round of continuing interest:

Respond and Opt Out

The deadline to respond online to your allocation day offer has now passed. If you have not yet responded, please email transfer.admissions@hertfordshire.gov.uk as soon as possible to confirm whether you are accepting or rejecting the school place offered.

If you wish to opt out of any unmet higher preferences for further allocations made as part of the continuing interest process, please email transfer.admissions@hertfordshire.gov.uk

When emailing the Admissions Team, please include your Child ID for identification purposes. You can find your
Child ID on your allocation day offer letter.

Important information: If you do not opt out of any higher preference schools and you are allocated one during the continuing interest process, the school place you have been allocated today will automatically be withdrawn - even if you accept this place. If you are happy with the school place and you do not want to be considered for any higher preference schools, you must opt out of the continuing interest process.

You cannot reapply for any schools you ranked lower than the school allocated, unless the school accepts new applications for the 1st round of continuing interest. Very few schools accept for the 1st round, but all schools will accept new applications for the 2nd round.

If you rank any school lower than the school allocated this preference will not be processed.

For more information about responding, opting out and making a continuing interest application please visit www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/primaryoptions

Continuing interest lists positions

On the allocation summary click on 'View Continuing Interest List Positions' to view your child's position on the continuing interest list for any unmet higher preferences (those still showing as 'Place Requested').

Make an application for continuing interest - applications open on Monday 18th May

You should only make a continuing interest application if you wish to change the order of your existing preferences or add a new school to your preferences. All unmet higher preferences (those still showing as 'Place Requested') will automatically be included in the continuing interest process.

If you are happy with your allocated school and you no longer want to be considered for any unmet higher preference school, please ‘Opt Out’ instead.

If you rank any school lower than the school allocated this preference will not be processed.
